🌏💚 Environmental Love Project ♻️

Dear Joeys, Cubs, Parents, Leaders, and Scouts,

Hello everyone!

I'm Darzi, one of the Cubs Leaders. I recently completed my Scouts Leadership Training Course, and as part of the final requirement, I am running a community project called Environmental Love.

I'd love to invite all Cubs, parents, and members from every Scout section to join us in making a positive difference for both our environment and our Scout Group.

♻️ Stage 1 – Collect, Recycle & Make a Difference

From now until 26 August, please collect any eligible drink cans and bottles with the 10¢ Return and Earn symbol.

Together, we can reduce waste, protect our environment, and raise funds for our Group.

📍 Location: Return and Earn, Rydalmere

📅 Date and Time: 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm, Wednesday, 26 August

If this time doesn't suit most families, we'll organise it during that weekend.

Everyone is welcome to participate—Cubs, Joeys, Scouts, Venturers, Rovers, Leaders, parents, and family members!

✨ Stage 2 – Giving Back to Our Scout Group

The money raised will be used to purchase a laminator and laminating supplies.

These will help us create durable activity cards, knot-tying guides, posters, games, and learning resources for our Scouting programs.

If there are funds remaining, they will be donated to our Scout Group to purchase additional equipment that benefits all sections.

Through this project, we hope to:

🏅 Help our Cubs develop responsibility, teamwork, and a sense of achievement.

A single bottle or can may only be worth 10 cents, but together they can make a big difference.

So, start collecting, spread the word, and encourage your family and friends to join in.

Together, we can care for our environment, support our Scout Group, and show what Scouting can achieve when we work as a team.
